  • Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for several weeks before your session.
  • Stop using any products containing retinol or other irritating ingredients a few days before treatment.

What to Expect During Your HALO® Treatment

Your HALO treatment begins with a thorough cleansing of your skin, followed by the application of a topical anesthetic to minimize discomfort. Once the anesthetic has taken effect, the HALO device is passed over your skin, delivering the laser wavelengths. The Zimmer Chiller for Improved Comfort and Safety

HALO® Recovery and Downtime

The downtime associated with HALO treatment is typically about four to five days of sunburn-like redness, warmth and swelling.   • Within 24 to 48 Hours: Mild swelling and redness typically resolve.
  • Within One Week: Noticeable peeling occurs as your skin rejuvenates, revealing a smoother, more radiant complexion beneath.
